  6. Application of red clay found on the river banks and hill slopes mixed with equal proportion of ginger juice is a useful home remedy.

  7. Turmeric is a time-tested remedy used to treat skin disorders since time immemorial. Application of turmeric paste externally or orally consuming turmeric in juices or milk is equally helpful. Oral consumption helps the immune system of the body to be revitalized, which results in the active working of the melanocytes.

  8. Spicy and oily, junk and fatty food items should be strictly avoided, as it tends to aggravate leucoderma.

  9. Drinking water that has been kept in a copper vessel overnight is extremely effective in healing leucoderma. Copper is known to have healing abilities for leucoderma.

  10. Regular consumption of walnuts purges the digestive system, which is necessary to ensure the curing of leucoderma.
